CAMP MEETING 2009 Evangelist: Rev. Earl T. Wheatley, Jr. Rev. Wheatley, Jr. will be the evangelist at Camp Meeting 2009—Our 60th Anniversary Year. He was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia and became a Christian at age 13. A member of the 29th International Youth Planning Panel (Denver Convention), 1972-74. He attended and graduated from Anderson College (now Anderson University), 1972-76. President of Pi Gamma Mu, national Social Science honor society, member of Alpha Chi, national college scholarship society; selected for “Who’s Who in American College and Universities”, 1974-75. Rev. Wheatley earned a Master of Divinity degree from Anderson School of Theology in 1980; did continuing Master’s level studies in Pastoral Counseling, 1980-81, worked at the Madison County Center for Mental Health as the Pastoral Counseling Intern, 1980-81. He studied in the Doctor of Ministries Program at Fuller Theological Seminary with focus on Church Growth and Health. He served as the Associate Staff Trainer with Walk Thru the Bible Leadership Training Ministries in “Personal Leadership Development”, “Team Building”, and “Sharpening Your People Skills”; Certified Teacher/Trainer with Evangelism Explosion; Certified Church Growth Consultant, Charles E. Fuller Institute.
